Who is responsible
SiteIQ NI is provided by Kevin Barry BSc (Hons) MRICS through QUINTIN QS. For privacy questions or requests, email info@quintinqs.com.
Information we may process
- Addresses, selected map coordinates and appraisal assumptions you enter.
- Scout journey times, saved GPS leads, planning comments and source links included in an office journey pack.
- Saved opportunity names, client references, notes, actions and comparison data.
- Names, roles and comments voluntarily added to viewer discussion.
- Payment confirmation, subscription access status and an anonymous browser reference used to restore paid access; Stripe processes card details, not SiteIQ.
- TRYME three-journey redemption, start and completion status, with journey duration and aggregate scan and lead counts but no trial-location history.
- Technical, browser, IP and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Please do not enter unnecessary confidential or sensitive personal information about a client, owner or any other person.
Why we use it
We process information to provide requested site checks and paid access, save professional workspaces, respond to enquiries, keep financial records, prevent misuse and improve reliability. The legal bases may be performance of a contract or steps requested before one, our legitimate interests in operating a secure professional service, legal obligations, and consent where we specifically ask for it.
Cookies and browser storage
SiteIQ uses essential cookies and browser storage for access verification, the current report draft and saved workspace features. These are needed for the service to work and are not used here for advertising. Removing them may lock access or remove locally saved information. Long-lived anonymous browser identifiers are retained to prevent repeated free trials and to restore a verified subscription on the purchasing device. They do not contain your name or email address.
Who we share information with
Information may be handled by Stripe for payment, our hosting and database providers, official or mapping services needed to answer a request, and professional or legal advisers where necessary. We do not sell personal information. Where a supplier processes information outside the UK, we require an appropriate legal safeguard.
How long we keep it
Saved opportunities and signed-in Scout journey packs remain until removed by the user or a valid deletion request is completed. The TRYME redemption record is retained to prevent a repeated free trial. Payment and accounting records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, contract or legal purposes. Security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary. Discussion contributions may remain until removed or moderated.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact us using the email above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children and changes
SiteIQ is a professional property service and is not intended for children. We may update this notice as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
